Hello everyone!

Little intro
This page has been put together to illustrate how SEO works, especially how it's important to take full advantage of all the areas where search engines look in.

What are search engines?
Search engines are animals that crawl the web and look into the hidden corners of the HTML. Just like a fox walking its usual night route, but also putting its nose in where something new gets noticed. Search engines do take their time to find our keywords, but they eventually do find them and list them on their own servers for hungry foxes to find when needed. If keywords are well thought through and correctly placed in the HTML their ranking ability will be competitive. Thorough keyword research can help us find out these precious keywords but also we can come across little gems, that are a result of thinking outside the box, that our competitors missed out.

What is here to see?
In these example pages I'm going to create a non-sense keywords and place them in the HTML code so that search engines find them and list them on search result. Like that, it will be well visible to untrained eye how important it is to have a right keyword in the right place.

Why use a non-sense keywords?
The reason is simple - we won't collide with any other keywords across the web and our result page will be only 1. There is one page in our list that will use "SEO web design" keywords and we'll be tracking its progress in search result list over a period of time.

So where are my links?
Below is the list of HTML hotspots where keywords should be placed. Each of these hotspots has sits own page with the particular hotspot been targeted. Also there will be a link to google search enquiry to show the works of the system.

There's more to SEO ...
Knowing where to place the keywords is one aspect of SEO. Supposedly it's like a kitchen with all its empty cupboards. Now that it's clearer what spaces are available, filling them with the the obvious items in obvious places, so that the search engine chef will know how to move about and where to look for the ingrediences when cooking a meal. It's not a good idea to irritate the chef with messy SEO.

Things like in-bound links (other websites mentioning and linking to our website), how many visits the website gets, how long people stay, is the content on the site spammy or is it genuine man made feature? All these little bits well balanced are well favoured by the search engines.

Enjoy the journey and let me know know what you think!
